Introduction

What Astri protects against, and how the docs are laid out.

What Astri does

Astri is a Discord bot that protects a server from two kinds of attack:

  • Nukes: an admin or a bot wrecking the server, by deleting channels and roles or banning members.
  • Raids: a wave of new accounts joining to spam or harass.

Anti-nuke is on from the moment Astri joins, so a nuke on day one is stopped, not just recorded. Raid defense and the honeypot start in shadow mode, where Astri only records what it would have done, until you turn them on.

Quick start

  1. Add Astri from the dashboard and move its role to the top of the list.
  2. Run /setup to pick your channels.
  3. Read what it would have done for a week, then turn on enforce.

Setting up has each step in full.
