Why does Astri need Administrator?

Undoing a nuke means putting back roles, permissions and channels, and Discord only allows that with wide permissions. Astri only acts through its own checks, and every action is logged and can be undone.

Will Astri ban my members by mistake?

Not while a module is in shadow mode. In enforce, raid punishments need several kinds of evidence together, and the honeypot never touches staff. Undo reverses most actions.

Does Astri read my messages?

It looks at messages as they arrive to spot raid spam, but keeps only a fingerprint and counts, never the text. The exception is the honeypot, where it keeps the first 500 characters as evidence. See the privacy policy.

What happens if Astri goes offline?

When it comes back it reads the audit log entries it missed and reports them. It doesn't act on them, since they're already old.

What happens to my data if I remove Astri?

The dashboard hides the server at once, and Astri deletes everything it stored about it 30 days later. Adding it back within those 30 days keeps it.

Where do I get help?

Ask in the support server, including false positive reports.
