Quarantine and appeals

The quarantine role

Quarantine is Astri's gentlest punishment. The quarantine role hides the rest of the server, so a member can't do harm, and taking it off puts them back with nothing lost. Astri makes the role during setup.

Reviewing who's in it

/quarantine and the Quarantine page list everyone held, with the evidence. Release lets them back in; Ban removes them for good. In Discord you can also right-click a member and pick Release from quarantine.

Auto-release

Astri can release members on its own once their risk has faded, after a number of hours you pick, up to a week. It's off by default.

Appeals

With appeals on, members Astri quarantines or times out get a DM with an Appeal button. Their appeal lands in the alert channel with Accept and Deny, and on the Appeals page. Raids never send DMs, so a raid can't flood the list, and DMs are capped per server per hour. Appeals are off by default.
