Account standing
How Astri warns you about accounts it contained in other servers, and how people ask for a review.
What it is
Every Discord account has a standing with Astri, built from what Astri itself did to that account in every server it protects. When someone Astri contained in other servers joins yours, staff hear about it before they do anything.
What counts
- Only Astri's automatic containments count: a ban, kick, quarantine or role strip during a raid, nuke, honeypot hit or spam incident.
- Bans, kicks and timeouts your staff hand out never count, so no single server can mark someone on purpose.
- Marking an incident a false positive, or undoing the action, takes the mark away straight away.
- Each mark stops counting after 180 days.
Tiers
| Tier | When |
|---|---|
| Good | No marks in the last 180 days |
| Caution | Contained in one server in the last 180 days |
| At risk | Contained in one server in the last 30 days, or in two servers in 180 days |
| Known raider | Contained in two servers in 90 days, or in three in 180 days |
A server's own history is left out of its alerts. Astri already scores someone it contained in your server before.
Alerts and scoring
When an account at risk or a known raider joins, Astri posts in the alert channel with what happened and when, and a button to watch them for 7 days. It never says which servers. /standing checks anyone, and /lookup shows the same line.
Alerts are on by default. Turning on Add to risk scores, on the Detection page or in /config under Join filters, lets a bad standing raise the joiner's risk score, a known raider more than an account at risk. It's off by default.
Checking your own standing
Anyone can sign in and open Account standing to see their tier and each mark: what happened and when, without the server. If Astri got it wrong, ask for a review there. Astri's team reads every request. An accepted review clears every mark the account had.
